We’re excited to share that a new partnership is developing near Kamuli. Dr Elizabeth Balirwa, the founder, knows us from helping our first leadership training we did in Kampala. She has recently retired from lecturing at Makerere University and is fulfilling her dream to build Zion school in her home village. We were amazed at their ingenuity using rooms from her old family home and a former chicken house for their 77 primary and nursery children.

Elizabeth’s parents shared this vision to use some of their land for a local school. We would love to use our experience to help them build safe, suitable facilities.

Starting with the essentials would mean building classrooms for the nursery with three classes and two classes for the primary  students.  The old house can be renovated for the third primary class.

We would love your help to make Elizabeth’s family dreams come true for these beautiful children.

Here’s a breakdown of our goals for this year:

- 3 nursery classrooms                    $8,850

- 2 primary classrooms                      $5,900

- Borehole for drinking water             $695

- Solar power system                           $555

- Latrine Boys, Girls 2 blocks            $1,830

Please consider making a contribution as the Father leads in partnering with Elizabeth and Zion school.

Shalom SchoolCompletion

Since2019, we have been working directly with Shalom Primary School in Rakai District, Uganda.  While we started with shoes and uniforms, we’ve built roofs for the school, classrooms, staff accommodation, the main hall, kitchen, toilet blocks, and a beautiful headteacher’s house.

We celebrate what the Lord has done with your generosity in helping us transform the site, bringing hope and a brighter future to the whole community. We recently received the grades for the Primary 7 leaving exams...all 20 passed, two with the highest 1st division marks and the rest all division 2.

We're now cheering the Shalom team on after 6 years …they are equipped and released to local leadership.  He is good!
