Nancy was called into missions at a youth conference as a new believer of only four months. Mike's call to missions was a longer process through many circumstances and opportunities directing him into missions.
Mike and his wife Tami ministered in Latin America, mostly in Mexico City, for over 25 years. Tami went home to heaven in May of 2008 after dealing with cancer for many years. Mike and Tami’s four out of five children are now working in the U.S. Elisa is now working in Spain, teaching English.
After seven years in Minnesota to help his youngest three children complete junior high and high school, Mike returned to Mexico to minister again and married Nancy in March of 2015. God blessed them with the birth of their sons Josiah in September of 2016 and Joshua in March of 2018. Mike is presently the pastor of a church that Nancy helped to plant before they were married. They are seeing lives renewed in Christ in Tizayuca, Hidalgo in Mexico.
