I am a biologist with a Masters degree in Latin American Studies and another in Interdisciplinary Theological Studies. My call to missions came specifically through being a passenger of a commercial flight kidnapped in 1999. I was held for 68 days and came out of convinced I had to dedicate my life to what has eternal value. This led me to connect with LAM and serve with the UCU College Ministry, and then with CETI.

I have been a member of Mesa Global since 2000, presently serving with the Mennonite Church of Colombia- IMCOL as National Treasurer and promoting the church’s strategic plan though projects that ensure sustainability. As part of this role, I helped structure a Communications Team within the IMCOL.

I have also received training in Spiritual Mentoring through Mesa Global and am anxious to serve the church and the Mesa Global community through this ministry.

Simultaneously to my ministry work I am currently providing care for my elderly mother and disabled cousin.

  • Political polarization, corruption and violence are on the rise in Colombia. Please pray for wisdom for all the authorities. Pray for the Church to be a light and a positive influence in these dark situations.
  • For the Mennonite Church of Colombia, with its' vocation for peacebuilding and non-violence. Pray for testimony of true transformation in the hearts of all the members of the church.
  • For wisdom and balance as I multi-task as a caregiver and as a missionary.
