Jonathan serves as Director of Global Ministry, overseeing Regional Leaders in Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America and North America. He also supervises other key leaders who support the work of Mesa Global staff "to equip servant leaders with the church for God's mission."
Jonathan is originally from Iowa and is a graduate of Duke University, Gordon-Conwell Seminary, and Fuller Seminary. Previously he served a total of16 years in Mexico City in a variety of roles--Lead Pastor for La Fuente Church, Regional Leader for Mesa Global, Board Chair for BridgeWay NorthAmerican School, and as intern and then leader for the Avance program. Jonathan currently also serves locally at Threshold Church in Weddington, NC.
Rocio is originally from Mexico City, where she earned a degree in optometry and started a series of small optical stores before starting a family. She served actively in the launch and growth of both La Fuente Church and Bridgeway North American School.
