David works with 80 church leaders from 60 churches representing 11denominations. He provides non-formal training & mentoring. In addition, he is developing a 3-year adult discipleship curriculum designed for Africans. He is also developing curriculum for the school's Bible class.
Mary Ann works as a consultant and mentor to the leadership of the project's two primary partners, UboraTZ in the USA and SHEFO in Tanzania. Her main focus is on the project's elementary school, helping it become a school of spiritual and academic excellence that provides local children of poor families an education and a chance to break the cycle of poverty.
- Plans are in the works to expand the school and to add a high school. Pray for wisdom in planning and provision of the necessary funds for construction.
- Pray for continued development of the project towards self-sustainability.
- Pray for the continued spiritual and educational growth and development of the 300+ students attending the school. Also pray for the many students who have graduated and are continuing their education elsewhere or are working throughout the country.
