We are being sent with Mesa Global to serve with the ministry of Furniture Friends in Fayetteville, AR. Furniture Friends exists to serve the international student community at the University of Arkansas as well as the growing number of refugees being resettled in Northwest Arkansas. Meeting the tangible need for furniture allows us the chance to connect with and build friendships with individuals whom God has brought from countries around the world. We want to be the hands and feet of Christ to them and offer them the opportunity to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ and be discipled to know Him so that disciple-making movements can grow from local to global. Through friendship, Bible storying, and Discovery Bible Studies, we hope to see disciple-making movements started among people groups that presently have no churches among them anywhere in the world. We also desire to equip and mentor local believers to join in this ministry alongside us so that more workers might be sent out.
- Pray that we would be effective in our ministry - through humility, a learners' attitude, and holy boldness.
- Pray for people of peace within the cross-cultural communities (international student and refugee) we will be ministering among, that the Holy Spirit would be readying hearts to receive Himself who in turn would reach their whole community.
- Pray that we would see people come to faith in Christ and that we would see disciples made who go and make disciples.
