David teaches Old Testament and biblical languages at Medellín’s Biblical Seminary of Colombia, where he also mentors younger members of the school’s faculty. He also directs Mesa Scholars, a newer movement purposed to identify, recruit, place, and develop highly qualified theological educators in Majority World theological communities. Both of these fields of activity aim not to change the world tomorrow, but to nurture and shape a generation of Christian leaders who will serve their churches and their societies over the next two generations.
Karen serves via her gifts of mentoring, creativity, and compassion. Asa woman who is deeply conscious that she herself is a redemption project, Karen brings mercy and grace into conversation and accompaniment of other Christian workers and those who have fallen on the hardest of times.
