The work here in the Village Bulesa at New Life Ministry and Skills Center is inspired by the vision of reaching teen girls in rural villages who have dropped out of school with the love of Christ and skills training. The center provides basic academic education, Bible training, and education on child marriage and HIV/AIDS, as well as a skills training center with a salon and a tailoring shop for employment. My role on the ministry team is as a Youth Activities Director; I will work closely with Ugandan Staff to organize evening and weekend activities for approximately 50 school girls, such as clubs, sports, drama, dance, handicrafts, music, small groups, and one-on-one discipleship. Additional roles include Pre-teen Bible Club Leader, Internship Discipleship Teacher and Small Group Facilitator, and ESL Instructor.
- Spiritual maturity in local believers so they can advance the Gospel among their own families and villages.
- Protection against spiritual attacks on the students, freedom from demonic influence.
- Discernment on equipping strategies and programs that God would have us implement.
