One third of the world's population has little to no access to the Gospel, and only 1/30 missionaries are mobilized to these unreached nations and people groups. When I heard these statistics for the first time, God ignited a holy dissatisfaction within me -- a conviction that ALL Christ followers have a role to play in seeing God's Kingdom come, including myself.
In March, I'm moving to Thailand to advocate for women in the Red-Light districts of Bangkok. Located in the 10/40 window, Thailand is considered an unreached nation, with less than 1% Christian. Entering the megacity of Bangkok, I long to image Jesus' incarnational, holistic ministry to those who don’t know Him yet.
I hope to work with a local ministry/NGO that walks with Thai women as they leave the sex industry & enter a new vocation, shifting the trajectory of their lives & the lives of their families. I am excited to build relationships and partner with Thai believers who are already doing God's work in their city.
- Pray for Holy Spirit to lead and provision throughout fundraising/ministry partnership development.
- Pray for the Mesa Global missionaries and local Thai believers already in Bangkok, for encouragement + boldness in their ministries and growth in relationships with unbelieving Thais.
- Pray that God will continue to soften and prepare the hearts of unbelieving Thais I'll meet.
